Bio

I was born and raised in the rurals of North Dakota.  After having an epiphany at age 7 regarding drumming, I was finally able to begin playing drums at age 11.   I toured the Western US and Canada at age 16 with a professional show band.  I began playing my first clubs at 18 years old in and around the state of North Dakota.  At the age of 22, I moved to Houston, Texas to get in a van and play a LOT of gigs.  I estimate that I have played nearly 5,000 gigs over the past 25+ years.   I have been blessed to travel the globe sharing my love of music and playing drums with audiences worldwide.  

I love playing, teaching, recording, cleaning, moving (not as much), and talking drums.  I am a player and lover of vintage American drums as well.  I am not a collector.  I consider myself a tradesman and these are my tools.  

I do love playing drums.  I also enjoy fishing, reading, & construction projects.  However, my main job is to be a good Daddy...THAT'S most important.  

I have been married to the same lady for over 20 years.  She is a much better person than I am.  I WAY over-married.  We have a teenage daughter that is an amazing artist in her own right...albeit in the graphic medium.
